  • 500 gm lean lamb, cut into thin strips
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, sliced in strips
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup beans, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil or any vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste



Heat oil in a pan and brown the lamb strips.  Add onion and celery. Brown and cook for 5 minutes. Separate the liquid from the mushrooms and combine the liquid with corn starch and soy sauce. Add to the meat and vegetables. Stir to thicken. Add mushrooms, pineapple, and beans. Stir to blend. Cover and cook slowly for 10 minutes or until meat is tender. Serve with rice and steamed vegetables.
